President Berdimuhamedov instructed to strengthen measures to prevent viral infection
During a meeting of the Turkmen government, which was held in an expanded format on Wednesday, President Berdimuhamedov instructed the media, as well as family doctors, to conduct regular elucidation work on the relevance of adherence to preventive measures and the promotion of the principles of a healthy lifestyle.
The Turkmen leader outlined priority tasks for strengthening measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection in the country. Among them:
1.Ministries and departments to prepare proposals on the possible limitation of events of a massive nature;
2.To improve transport services, it was recommended, on the one hand, to increase the number of public transport in the Turkmen capital, and on the other, to ensure enhanced control over compliance with the rules established by the Extraordinary Commission for Combating the Spread of Diseases;
3.The President of Turkmenistan ordered to organize preventive anti-virus measures in all organizations and enterprises of the country, strictly observe the rules of sanitary and epidemiological safety, study international experience and, having analyzed the relevant legislative acts, prepare proposals for making amendments and additions to them;
4.In connection with the approach of the autumn-winter period, the head of state gave instructions to carry out work everywhere in boiler houses to ensure a favorable temperature in workplaces, in residential buildings, educational institutions, etc. to avoid the spread of seasonal colds.
The state program "Health", which has been implemented in Turkmenistan for many years, provides for an integrated approach to the implementation of preventive and diagnostic measures, as well as the treatment of diseases.
