The minister of culture of Turkmenistan was reprimanded by the president
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave a strict reprimand to minister of culture of Atageldi Shamyradov at the meeting with heads of the given sphere and mass-media of Turkmenistan. At the meeting which was held through video conferencing on Sunday, the activity of state structures in the sphere of culture, art, information policy for 2020 were summed up and tasks are designated and commissions are given. The head of the state showed discontent with inadequate coordination with work of culture establishments, including maintenance of their personnel potential and modernisation, including schools of arts, theatres and libraries. The president demanded from the minister to analyse developed state of affairs and to take measures to update organizational approaches. The official received also the prevention of correction in the shortest terms of the admitted lacks.
