In Turkmenistan Open-end joint-stock company «Turkmen kaolin» will be established. As its founder the Balkan quarry management entering into the structure of the Ministry of Industry and Construction Manufacture of Turkmenistan will act.

The founder will have 49 % in the authorized capital of the Open-end Company organisation of which provides modernisation and capacity escalating of kaolin enterprises of the Balkan quarry management with orientation to import replacement in the building sector. Presented at the governmental meeting on Friday by deputy chairman Charymyrat Purchekov the new industrial project was approved by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov who signed the document on the creation of the Open-end Company «Turkmen kaolin».

Most often kaolin is used for manufacture of porcelain -faience products, ceramic tile, brick, Portland cement and also as filling agents in manufacture of industrial rubber articles, paint and varnish production, plastic, linoleum and others.

One of the deposits of kaolin clay in Turkmenistan is the gulf of Garabogazkol.
