UIET members are considering the possibility of building a plant for the production of chemicals

Members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan are exploring the possibility of building a private chemical plant for the production of perchloric acid, calcium chloride and hydrochloride.

The raw material for the new production will be chlorine, which is a by-product of the production of caustic soda in the Balkan region of the country. The new products will find wide application in the chemical and oil and gas sectors, and will replace imported analogs.

At present, advisory surveys are being carried out for the implementation of the project. The possibility of attracting local and foreign investments for the construction of the facility is being considered.
