Turkmenistan has published the new data on extraction and export of natural gas


For January-July, 2021 in Turkmenistan 48, 7 billion cubic metre of natural gas that by 9 billion cubic metres more than for the similar period of 2020 was produced as writes the site of the oil and gas complex of the country.
From the beginning of the year Turkmenistan has exported 27 billion cubic metres of blue fuel that is by 7, 3 billion cubic metres more than for seven months of 2020. Thus, for January-July the growth of deliveries has made up 37 %.
The basic volume of natural gas has been exported to the Chinese People’s Republic which is the strategic partner of Turkmenistan in the oil and gas sphere.
Turkmenistan carries out an active work on diversification of deliveries of blue fuel and petrochemical products. Following the results of the summit which took place on August 6 by heads of the states of Central Asia it was stated that official Ashkhabad intends to increase deliveries of natural gas to Central Asia and foreign markets.
At the summit talks agreements on deliveries of Turkmen blue fuel to Kyrgyzstan and strengthening of gas cooperation with Tajikistan were reached. Successful realisation of the project of the gas pipeline Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) goes on.
