The new ambassador of the United Arab Emirates handed copies of his credentials to the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates Ahmed Alhai Hamad Khamis Al-Hameli who handed to head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs copies of his credentials.
Diplomats considered the important aspects of cooperation in political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres. The sides underlined mutual interest in further development of the established productive dialogue and discussed the issues of the bilateral partnership in the fields of energy, transport, communications, construction, agriculture and ecology. Participation of Turkmenistan in the World Exhibition “EXPO-2020” which will be held in Dubai from October 1, 2021 to the end of March, 2022, was also discussed.
