Turkmenistan continues study of foreign vaccines against infectious diseases


President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave instructions to the head of the Ministry of Health Protection and Medical Industry Nurmuhammed Amannepesov to take all measures to prevent viral infections in the country, to carry out monitoring on permanent basis and work to prevent seasonal diseases. And if necessary – to strengthen these measures.
At the same time, he pointed out, on the one hand, it is necessary to ensure that students and citizens traveling abroad are vaccinated with the vaccine used in these countries, and, on the other hand, foreigners entering Turkmenistan should have vaccination certificates. In addition, the minister was instructed to provide our compatriots with a sufficient amount of vaccine.
In this regard, the Turkmen leader confirmed his previous instructions on the study and registration of foreign vaccines and medical supplies recommended by the World Health Organization.
In addition, President Berdimuhamedov once again reminded of the need to comply with the three rules that have already become basic – the mandatory wearing of face masks, their compliance with international standards and awareness-raising company among the population.
As ORIENT previously reported, the Russian Sputnik V vaccine is registered in Turkmenistan, while the study and further registration of new medicinal drugs will be continued.
