Turkmenistan expands medical cluster of international level: new projects were approved
In Turkmenistan the international scientific -clinical centre of physiology and the international health centre which projects were approved by president Berdimuhamedov will be constructed. The new medical institution of physiological profile will study and treat such often met in the region of Central Asia the diseases caused by consequences of the Aral crisis, negative influence of the salts extended by wind from the dried bottom of the Aral sea. These are illnesses of upper respiratory ways, allergy and immune system, diabetes. Along with it medical aspects of wholesome nutrition, physical activity, sports and labour activity taking into account local natural -climatic features will be studied. Under the project, the five-storeyed scientific-clinical centre of physiology will take place on the site of six hectares. On its base departments of medical university where will pass not only theory, but also practice students will operate and raise qualification operating experts. One more, but already seven-storeyed object of health services will occupy also the territory of six hectares. Its functions include healthcare both in out-patient and in stationary conditions of adults and children after operation. Besides it, rehabilitation of the patients subject to long chronic diseases cardiovascular, nervous, endocrine, digestive, musculoskeletal locomotor and other systems. The purpose of the new centre is to provide patients from among Turkmen nationals and foreign citizens such medical services which will help them to restore health and to return to high-grade life.
