The summit of heads of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Turkey was postponed to later terms


Presidents Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan discussed by phone on Thursday preparation for the forthcoming summit of heads of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Turkey.
The Turkish leader suggested putting off the meeting of heads of three states planned for August in Turkmenistan to later terms in connection with the dramatic circumstances caused by massive forest fires in Turkey and served the reason of human victims and sufferings and economic damage.
Berdimuhamedov with understanding apprehended the proposal and expressed his sympathy for the colleague and all fraternal people of Turkey, conveyed words of support to the people, who have lost relatives and the victim.
Presidents confirmed their adherence to expansion of interstate dialogue, exchanged opinions on its prospects, and also on the basic issues of international and regional significance.
