Berdimuhamedov discussed with Mirziyoev the prospect of development of the Turkmen-Uzbek relations
On August 6 in Avaza the meeting of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with head of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev took place, as is informed by the official site of the Uzbek leader.
Heads of the states discussed topical issues of bilateral agenda, special attention was given to expansion of trade and economic relations. The separate attention was given to the course of fulfilment of agreements reached before at top-level.
The theme of development of transport-logistical infrastructure, access to the new markets through corridors of South Caucasus and South Asia, including formation of transport and transit corridor according to the Ashkhabad agreement between Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Iran and Oman was mentioned.
Mirziyoyev noted a high level of the organisation of the Consultative meeting of heads of the Central Asian states and underlined that it becomes the next important stage in strengthening of regional cooperation.
