Turkmenistan-Tajikistan: cooperation between business communities is strengthening


President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at the talks with the head of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon stated the need to significantly increase the level of partnership between the countries through the business communities.
The Turkmen leader stressed the need to organize on a regular basis contacts between entrepreneurs, joint exhibitions of commodity producers, economic forums and other events of an economic nature.
The head of Tajikistan, in turn, confirmed the country's interest in strengthening business cooperation with Turkmenistan and stated that there is great potential in the field of industrial cooperation.
The Tajik leader spoke in favor of establishing an exchange of experience between entrepreneurs of the two countries in the field of light industry, and also announced his readiness to provide Turkmen business with all the conditions necessary for its participation in the creation of industrial cooperation enterprises in Tajikistan on the basis of existing ones, as well as on the territory of free economic zones.
The intentions of the parties to develop cooperation between entrepreneurs were documented by a roadmap to increase trade, a program of trade and economic cooperation, as well as agreements on the organization of trading houses and the creation of a Council of Entrepreneurs between the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and Tajikistan.
