Rahmon arrived on a visit to Turkmenistan
President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon arrived on a state visit to Turkmenistan, where he will take part in the summit of the leaders of the Central Asian countries.
Officials met the President of Tajikistan at the Ashgabat International Airport.
From here the motorcade of the distinguished guest proceeded to the “Oguzkent” hotel, where the delegation of Tajikistan, which had arrived the day before, was accommodated. During the visit, Emomali Rahmon is accompanied by the ministers of foreign affairs, economy, energy and water resources, transport, culture, the chairman of the Investment Committee, heads of the railway department and the Chamber of Commerce, and other members of the government.
A meeting of the presidents of Turkmenistan and Tajikistan is scheduled for Wednesday.
