140 families of Ashgabat residents will celebrate housewarming on City Day, which is celebrated on May 25, on the occasion of the 140th anniversary of founding the Turkmen capital city. Such instructions have been given today by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov during his tour of new buildings in Ashgabat. The decision on a holiday gift on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence was announced during the visit by the head of state to the capital’s residential area Choganly, where cottage houses are being built. The President ordered to provide a modern social infrastructure in this area and gave instructions to Deputy Prime Minister Shamuhammet Durdyliyev to organize 140 housewarming parties to celebrate the memorable date.
