Servicemen of Turkmenistan get ready for their professional holiday


In the foyer of the Central Officers' Club of the Ministry of Defence of Turkmenistan, the exhibition of the creative works devoted to the life of servicemen was opened. On canvases of famous artists are famous images of fighters-frontier guards, scouts, cadets, all those who, repaying a debt to their native land, a sign with everyday life of military service.
Annually on the main platform of Ashkhabad Officers' Club big concerts devoted to Day of Defenders of Fatherland are held. On the stage not only actors, but those who at the moment fulfil their military duty act.
This year representatives of all law and enforcement bodies for the first time are involved in the concert program - from commandoes to frontier guards.
Keeping a combat readiness and clearness of execution of perfected movements, military men show skills of hand-to-hand fight, combining them with dancing elements. To be prepared for such responsible performance soldiers are helped not only by senior of rank officers, but also the professional choreographer.
Especially the skill of fighters of spetsnaz «Turkmen Edermen», in a literal translation «Turkmen men of courage» impresses. It is symbolical that on stripes of members of special purpose service flaunts the Turkmen alabay. The dog has not casually deserved love of military men. The reliable watchman and faithful companion in fight – alabay, together with soldiers of special purpose unit keep duty in the army.
The central place in the concert program is given to the military orchestra «Merdana nesiller» («Brave generations») which is headed by Captain Arslan Berekliev. The orchestra of the armed forces of Turkmenistan is more than 20 years old and musicians take part in many important festive events of the country. In the collective repertoire are military-patriotic songs and famous pieces of music of Turkmen composers.
On the festive day entertainment performances of soldiers, officers and the military orchestra will be broadcast live on the state television.
