Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov accepted the credentials of the new ambassador of the United Arab Emirates
New ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Turkmenistan Ahmed al-Hamli handed President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov his credentials.
Together with greetings from President of the United Arab Emirates Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary conveyed also readiness of the top management of the Emirates for interaction expansion.
The head of the state and the diplomat considered possibilities of activization of cooperation on those directions that were designated priority during the visit of the Turkmen leader to the United Arab Emirates in 2018, and discussed advancement of the agreements signed in last month in Abu-Dhabi during negotiations of the high-ranking delegation of Turkmenistan, headed by Deputy Chairman Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
It concerns the building of the international airport on the Turkmen seaside – a small town Jebel, the stone-laying of which took two weeks ago, and a solar-wind power station for the social-industrial complex around the Turkmen lake «Altyn asyr».
Berdimuhamedov and the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates, having exchanged opinions on priority aspects of cooperation, also mentioned the topic of Expo 2020 Dubai which opens on October 1, 2021 and in which Turkmenistan is going to display its potential.
