Turkmenistan adopts a new 5-year program on development of physical culture and sports

Turkmenistan has adopted the Program on support and development of physical culture and sports in 2021-2025. The Program provides for the legislative and scientific support, international cooperation, digitization of the sphere and introduction of the best world experience along with popularization of the sports-lifestyle, training of international masters of sports, etc. The Ministry of Sports and Youth Policy of Turkmenistan is a responsible agency for the implementation of the program. However, other departments, as well as local authorities and the mayor’s office of Ashgabat will be involved in as the idea of the sports-lifestyle is nationwide.
