Entrepreneurs plan to launch production of geomembranes for use in water management

Members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan plan to establish the production of geomembranes and geotextiles for use in water management projects.

Domestic waterproofing synthetic materials will reduce the loss of water in artificial reservoirs, reservoirs and canals in the open ground, which are mainly used for the needs of agricultural producers.

Thus, the beginning of production of geomembranes will contribute to the rational use of water resources and realization of the potential of irrigated agriculture in Turkmenistan.

For the production of this useful material, it is planned to use polypropylene and polyethylene from the Kiyanlyn polymer complex, which is the largest in the region.
