New water treatment plant to be commissioned in Ashgabat - UIET projects


A new water treatment facility in Ashgabat is at the final stage of construction - the capacity of this utility infrastructure facility is 150 thousand cubic meters of water per day.
The project, which will increase the reliability of the water management system of the capital, is being implemented by a member company of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
Issues related to the construction of this and other communal facilities were raised during the working meeting of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with Mayor of Ashgabat Rakhim Gandymov and Deputy Prime Minister in charge of the capital, Charymyrat Purchekov.
The head of state instructed the mayor to develop projects for the modernization of drinking water plants and a water supply network in Ashgabat with the introduction of new technologies and modern standards, digital management of public utilities. The same instruction was given for the development of the city's road transport system.

At the meeting, it was reported on the preparations for the opening of new buildings and structures in Ashgabat, the competitive selection of construction companies that will build facilities as part of the formation of a comfortable recreation area on the Altyn Kol (Golden) lake, etc.
