In the first half of 2021, the production of eco-gasoline in Turkmenistan increased by 72%


The plant for the production of gasoline from natural gas in the Akhal region of Turkmenistan for 6 months of this year increased production by 72% compared to the same period in 2020, the official Turkmen press writes today.
The enterprise has manufactured products for almost 200 million manat. On average, in January-June, the plant produced 1,800 tons of environmentally friendly ECO-93 gasoline daily.
In the first half of 2021, the company exported eco-fuel to European countries and Afghanistan.
Today the plant for the production of gasoline from natural gas in Ahal is the only enterprise of this profile in the world. The ambitious project was implemented by the State Concern “Turkmengaz”, the Japanese company Kawasaki Heavy Industries and the Turkish construction holding Rönesans. The production is based on the TIGAS technology developed by the Danish company “Haldor Topsоe”.
