Turkmenistan and Morocco may create a joint commission for economic cooperation

At inter-MFA political consultations, Turkmenistan and Morocco indicated their readiness to develop trade and economic ties and considered the possibility of creating a joint commission on economic cooperation, the official Turkmen press writes today.
If specific agreements are reached on these issues, Turkmen business and state-owned enterprises will have a unique opportunity to enter the exotic market of the African continent.
At the meeting, held in an online format, the importance of organizing meetings between the relevant ministries and departments of the countries with the participation of representatives of the business community was emphasized.
In spring of the last year, the delegation of Turkmenistan visited Morocco on behalf of the head of state Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. Then the Turkmen leader stressed the need to expand constructive ties with the countries of the African continent.
