Horse to Galkynysh group as a present from President
Horse Ruhubelent was presented to the famous Galkynysh group on behalf of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. Excellent Akhal-Teke racer of wonderful beige and pearl colour with blue eyes has demonstrated its magnificent stature and grace.
This news started the Sunday’s performance in the Ashgabat State Circus and all spectators who came to the show have welcomed the horse with loud applauses.
While entering to the arena, Ruhubelent was a bit confused by mass of people, noise, cheers and light of soffits, and behaved like a real artist. Then, as if realizing whom the applause was intended for, he walked with dignity through the arena, led by the riders of Galkynysh group, made an elegant bow and then a lap of honor.
The audience gave standing applauses, since it was visible that Ruhubelent was excellently trained and had aristocratic features. The beauty of Ruhubelent is incredible, it seems, indeed, he came down from heaven, as Turkmen horses was described as heaven horses in ancient times foreign chroniclers.
At that time, having such horses was considered as a sign of luxury and power of the ruler, but the Turkmen had these horses in almost every farmstead, and they were considered not to be domestic animals, but family members. This is how the Turkmen loved their horses, and it was precisely mutual loyalty that allowed all these unique qualities of the Akhal-Teke horse and Turkmen riders to appear.
Ruhubelent is not the first or the only horse from the presidential stables, which was given to Galkynysh group. The group was founded in 2007 by President Berdimuhamedov to popularize the Turkmen culture, which everlasting heritage and pride are legendary Akhal-Teke horses, the traditions of horsemanship, which come from ancient times and which the Turkmen pass from generation to generation.
Starting from the first triumph at the World Circus Art Festival in Moscow in 2013, when Turkmen artists won the main prizes almost in all nomination including the main award – the Golden Idol Cup, the Galkynysh Group continued conquering the most demanding public: Grand Prix of international festivals in Italy, China, Russia ...
All above mentioned excluded the tour performances and participation in equestrian games. As a member of Galkynysh group, an incomparable Ruhubelent, who win the audience with its magnificent posture and splendid exterior, which is felt in his graceful movements by temperament, and with piercing look of blue eyes, will only enrich the artistic feature of horse shows performed by Galkynysh group. As it is impossible to resist such magnificent beauty.
