Young swordwoman from Turkmenistan - the first champion of Central Asia among cadets

16-year-old “Musketeer” from Turkmenistan Dzhumanazar Dovletnazarov became the first Central Asian champion among the cadets at the debut tournament of the Central Asian Fencing Federation in Tashkent that ended on February 17. In the final battle, the Turkmen athlete literally snatched his first gold medal at international competitions from his rival from Uzbekistan, Mirzoulgbek Muminov. Throughout the bout, Jumanazar increased his lead over his opponent. At the last minutes of the competition, the Uzbek almost equalized the score, but Dovletnazarov did not give a chance to his opponent. The final result is 15:12. Jumanazar Dovletnazarov is a rising star of Turkmen fencing. The young man boldly conquers the podium of honor of all national tournaments in which he has no equal. At the end of February, Jumanazar will go to the Asian Championships in Amman (Jordan), where he will challenge excellence with the strongest swordsmen of the whole part of the world.
