Peace and trust through a dialogue of cultures - as the motto of year were embodied by actors of Turkmen theatres
Creative figures gave today an official signal to start for events which will pass in the framework of the program of the Year «Turkmenistan – Home of Peace and Trust ».
To choose the motto of each year is a tradition which has already taken roots in Turkmenistan. 2021 passes under the badge of the 30th anniversary of independence of the country, and the motto chosen for it is conformable to this International year of peace and trust which the United Nations declared at the initiative of Turkmenistan.
It is logical that people of art which always was considered and is actually a conductor of ideas of humanism, mutual understanding bridge, that channel of display of interest in each other different cultures and the people by which occurs not only dialogue, but also counter spiritual enrichment, attraction and conjugation of minds and hearts, first welcomed the Year.
Perhaps, therefore great Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin - an embodiment of bursting forth creative genius and his prophetical calling became the first character who has appeared on the stage of the Ashkhabad Mukam Palace (melodies) where took place today's celebration.
«And, bypassing seas and lands,
With verb enslave hearts of people ».
In performances where Russian, English and Turkmen languages sounded, there were also other outstanding figures of world literature which with passion and energy were embodied by actors of the Main Drama Theatre and the State Russian drama Theatre named after A.S.Pushkin.
And, of course, in gallery of images the special place was occupied with Mahtumkuli and other glorified Turkmen poets and philosophers (that in the East where the power of word is equated to prophetic gift, as a matter of fact, it is one and the same thing).
And then they gave floor to "descendants" - successors and continuers of traditions of national culture, modern performers.
- The main idea of this patriotic, international and pacifistic performance was felt very much vividly –it is an all-conquering peace-making force of art. Here it is correlated with a peace-making position of Turkmenistan in the international relations, in the solution of issues of the global agenda, in aspiration to rapprochement of people and open, tristful interaction, - as the performance was commented by honoured worker of art of Turkmenistan, main director of the National Music Drama Theatre named after Mahtumkuli Aynazar Batyrov for ORIENT.
The exhibition of works of fine art became an addition to the dramatized initiation.
