TASS: Zenit footballer Serdar Azmoun can go to Borussia of Dortmund
The German football club Borussia of Dortmund is interested in Iranian striker of the Russian Zenit Serdar Azmoun, who is of Turkmen origin. As Gazeta.Ru reports with reference to the Tuttomercatoweb portal, the Zenit leadership demands € 20 million for the transfer of the 26-year-old Iranian. Azmoun has been playing for Zenit since February 2019, having become a two-time Russian champion, holder of the Russian Cup and Super Cup during this period. This season, he played 20 matches for the club from St. Petersburg in different tournaments, scoring 11 goals and serving five assists. Azmoun also played for the Rubin of Kazan and the Rostov, with which he became the silver medalist of the Russian Championship. The striker played 48 matches for the Iranian national team, scoring 31 goals.
