Arab Men’s Fashion Week will be held in Dubai
The first Middle Eastern Arab Fashion Week – Men’s will be held in Dubai from 28 to 30 January 2021. The event is organized by the Arab Fashion Council and Facebook Corporation.
It is planned that in the future the event will be held twice a year – in January and June – and will become a significant event in the world calendar of fashion shows.
“The world around us is changing, as the attitude towards fashion, and this is most noticeable in the Middle East. Arab Fashion Week – Men’s will showcase men’s clothing that is not formal or casual, and it will open the way to a bolder wardrobe for men in the Middle East,” said Mohammed Akra, Director of Strategic Development at the Arab Fashion Council.
Designers from the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Qatar and Iran will showcase their work at fashion shows. In addition, 4 designers participating in Paris Fashion Week were selected to participate in the events in Dubai.
Participating designers will present their collections on Instagram Facebook Live and Instagram Live platforms. Viewers will have the opportunity to order products using Instagram Shopping and ByTribute services. The official show schedule will be announced 2 weeks before the start of the week.
