Due to the difficult epidemiological situation in the region and the world, Turkmenistan is strengthening measures to prevent infectious diseases in educational institutions of the country. This is stated in the document regulating the temporary procedure for organizing work in educational institutions of Turkmenistan. In particular, educational institutions should have several entrances and exits, students, students and teachers should not leave an institution during recess, all movements that are not related to the educational process should be restricted, and parents and close relatives of students should not visit educational institutions. In schools, pupils of primary and senior classes should be placed separately, if it is necessary to adapt the assembly, sports and reading rooms of institutions for this task, and in the case of favorable weather – to conduct lessons in an open air. Educational institutions, in accordance with their conditions, must switch from single-shift to two-shift, and if necessary, to three-shift training. In schools with a large number of students, it is necessary to divide the classes into two, so that the distance between the desks is 2 meters and each student (student) has an area of 5 square meters. In general education schools, the duration of lessons for the first grades will be reduced from 35 to 25, for grades 2-4 from 45 to 30 minutes and for grades 5-11 from 45 to 35 minutes. The duration of recess after each lesson should increase from 5 to 10 minutes, and the big recess should last 20 minutes. At the same time, it is necessary to ensure the safety of the content of educational programs and the workload of teachers. In secondary and higher education institutions, the duration of lessons will be reduced from 80 to 40 minutes, and the change between classes will be 20 minutes. In this regard, the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan is entrusted with the control over the organization of special rooms in educational institutions for the isolation of pupils and students who have an elevated temperature or other signs of illness. In addition, the medical department is obliged to monitor the notification of medical institutions at the place of residence of students with signs of the disease, as well as their parents.
