Turkmen manufacturer of turkey products intends to enter foreign market
The individual enterprise "Maksada okgunly" intends to expand the range of turkey delicacies to 57 kinds. Now, the private poultry farm produces more than 4,800 tons of finished products from turkey meat.
"Maksada okgunli" is the first enterprise in the country that is engaged in the industrial production of turkey meat. The company has received international certificates that allow it to export meat products to dozens of countries.
The factory of the individual enterprise is located on 23 hectares of land, divided into four zones. They are set aside for incubators, turkey pens, veterinary premises and planting areas where special feed is grown.
The poultry farm was built with the government support. It is one of 37 promising projects selected by the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs in 2015 to provide concessional loans allocated by the state for the development of the private sector.
The equipment on the poultry farm is installed from Belgian, German, French and Turkish manufacturers. With the commissioning of the facility, 350 new jobs were created.
The company's products are sold in all major supermarkets in Turkmenistan. In the near future, the individual enterprise "Maksada okgunly" plans to open its own chain of stores, which will sell fresh turkey meat. Work is also underway to start exporting Turkmen turkey delicacies.
