Patriarch Kirill has congratulated the head of Turkmenistan on the eve of Christmas on New Year
The Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Kirill sent on the eve of Christmas his congratulatory telegram addressed to Turkmen leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. «Warmly I congratulate you on New Year! – reads the message. - Annually we with special feeling celebrate this holiday, hoping for overcoming of various difficulties and tests, for achievement of mutual understanding and cooperation strengthening between the countries and people, on fulfilment of kind wishes addressed to each other». The Russian Orthodox Church remains invariably opened for fruitful cooperation with public authorities, representatives of traditional religions and all loyal public forces for the sake of the statement in the life of people of imperishable ideals of love and mercy, peace and justice, the head of Russian Orthodox Church noted.
