In Turkmenistan, January 2 is declared as a non-working day

Today, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Decree, declaring January 2, 2021 to be a non-working day. Such decision was made “in order to create favorable conditions for the country’s population to celebrate the New Year and have a good rest”. All institutions, enterprises and organizations, regardless of their forms of ownership, are required to ensure the implementation of this Decree.
