Berdimuhamedov meets with the new head of the OSCE Center in Ashgabat

On Tuesday, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with the new head of the OSCE Center in Ashgabat, John McGregor, the official Turkmen press reported today.
During the meeting, key areas of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, promising areas of joint work were discussed.
Particular emphasis was placed on strengthening cooperation in the development of the digital economy, sustainable energy and energy security, transport and optimization of the functioning of transit corridors.
Ecology, issues related to climate change, rational use of water resources, and the Aral Sea were also named as topical areas of interaction.
