After a long period of restrictions related to the prevention of the spread of infectious diseases in Turkmenistan, the number of domestic rail runs began to increase.
As of June 9, the “Demiryollary” OJSC launched 33 railway runs, 8 of which are transporting passengers from the capital to the city of Turkmenbashy and back. Trains run on this route daily.
Passenger transportations by rail in other directions are carried out from one to three times a week, but the number of runs is gradually increasing.
