The visit of the head of Kazakhstan to Turkmenistan, fuel and energy complex and other topics – in bilateral negotiations


The visit of the president of Kazakhstan planned for the second half of the year 2021 to Turkmenistan became one of topics of telephone conversation between Deputy Chairman, Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov and his Kazakh colleague Mukhtar Tileuberdi on Tuesday.
Ministers discussed the agenda of bilateral cooperation, including at the level of foreign policy departments, taking into account those commissions which had been given by heads of two states Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev following the results of the telephone conversations which took place in April and May, as informs the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
Diplomats exchanged opinions on interaction in trade and economic, transit, transport, cultural-humanitarian spheres. Preparation for the VI Caspian Summit which will be held in Turkmenistan in autumn was also considered.
The same day Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan Murat Zhurabekov which arrived on a visit to Ashkhabad, held a number of negotiations in Turkmen departments under various projects, as informs «Mir 24».
«We have discussed issues of mutually advantageous cooperation in the field of fuel and energy complex. In particular, we are interested in the experience of Turkmenistan in realization of petrochemical projects», - Murat Zhurabekov said to the broadcasting company.
One of the important issues is deliveries of Turkmen lubricants to Kazakhstan. The parties agreed about it during their visit to commodity and raw materials exchange. They separately touched upon the railway from Kazakhstan to Iran through Turkmenistan. According to representatives of both countries, the large scale project develops successfully.
