Turkmenistan will purchase vaccine against COVID-19
Turkmenistan has developed a plan for the purchase of vaccine against COVID-19 and its delivery to the country. The plan provides for studying through the Turkmen diplomatic missions abroad the experience of producing this vaccine in other countries. The planned measures include the procurement of a vaccine against COVID-19, the preparation of the necessary documents for the import and registration of this vaccine in Turkmenistan. In addition, the relevant Turkmen departments will have to identify risk groups among the population for phased vaccination, keep records of vaccinated people, provide an electronic format for vaccination passports, constant monitoring of vaccination results, etc. A major part of the activities for the procurement and delivery of the COVID-19 vaccine to the country, as well as the preparation and implementation of vaccinations is scheduled for January 2021.
