The winners of the Ashgabat junior championship in tennis were determined

The open championship of Ashgabat in tennis has ended, in which more than a hundred young athletes participated in two age categories - 12 years and younger, and also 13 years and older, both girls and boys.
In the final fight among girls in the category “12 years and under”, young Aisha Bikbulatova won another victory over Meri Muhammedova, having won her two sets out of three. Despite the fact that the second game was left for Meryem, Aisha maintained the advantage throughout the game and brought it to the bitter end.
In the same discipline among the boys, Selim Pirdzhikov did not leave any chances to Emre Insel, defeating him with the score 2: 0.
The classic opposition of the champion of Turkmenistan Diana Bezrutchenko and Guljan Muhammetkuliyeva, in which Guljan took revenge for the last defeat in October, was stubborn and long lasting.
It would seem that initially the champion of the country was leading and leading in the long run, but the second set showed that luck was not on Diana’s side this time.
- Today the net is against me! - she lamented.
Having gathered all her will into a fist, Bezrutchenko brilliantly started the third game, but it was obvious that Guljan was also not going to give up. The girls fought hard, demonstrated the maximum of their capabilities.
Emotions overwhelmed not only sportswomen, but also active fans, who genuinely worried about their favorites, without departing from the tennis court. And so, in the last minutes, Guldzhan Muhammetkuliyeva snatched victory from the champion of Turkmenistan Diana Bezrutchenko, leaving her one step away from the next triumph.
The third place in the group was taken by Anastasia Azimbaeva, who entered the top 50 best Asian tennis players in the age category up to 14 years. This result was achieved after a successful performance at the Asian Championship in tennis among boys and girls in Nonthaburi (Thailand) in January.
