Turkmenistan Airlines - official partner of the 2017 Asian Games
According to the press release of the Executive Committee on the preparations for the V Asian Indoor and Martial Games, the Turkmenhowayollary Service is the first local sponsor and official partner of the 2017 Ashgabat Games. Chairman of the 5th AIMAG Executive Committee, Dayanch Gulgeldiyev noted that the Turkmenistan Airlines would play a significant role in the preparatory works for the Games, providing international transport services and high-quality support service in the Ashgabat International Airport, offering the warm Turkmen hospitality to our guests even before they set their feet on the Turkmen land. Turkmenistan Airlines not only supports the Games as a sponsor, but also organizes the flight arrivals and departures in the Ashgabat Airport during the 5th AIMAG in September. Joint planning of hosting more than 8,000 athletes and guests, arriving in Ashgabat for the V Asian games, has taken place within the year. As a result, the airline company of Turkmenistan has decided to expand the network of its flights. The management of the Turkmen airlines noted that the Ashgabat-2017 Games would be a historic moment for our country and “we are extremely proud to support the Games and to play an important role in hosting such a grandiose event in our country”. * * * Ashgabat-2017 - 5th Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games will take place in Turkmenistan on September 17–27, 2017. The programme of the Games will include 21 sports to be held in 15 venues during 12 days of the competitions. Among them are basketball, belt wrestling, billiard, bowling, chess, cycling (track), sports dancing, riding competition, futsal, track and field, jiu-jitsu, kickboxing, kurash, Thai boxing, tennis, traditional wrestling, sambo, short course swimming, weightlifting and wrestling
