More than a million square meters of housing built in the regions of Turkmenistan in 2017

“National Rural Development Program” is the short name of the large-scale national project to improve the social conditions of peripheral territories in Turkmenistan. Now the project is in its second phase (until 2020). Since the beginning of 2017, within the framework of this project, 1,024.5 thousand square meters of housing have been built, 467.9 kilometers of engineering networks have been laid, and about three thousand kilometers of communication systems and social facilities have been developed. There are 64 more social facilities, more than 30 water treatment plants, 369 thousand square meters of residential buildings, as well as various infrastructure systems under construction now.
