Vladimir Zakharov, one of the most authoritative specialists in pair figure skating, Honored Coach of Russia, Master of Sports of the USSR, held a seminar for beginner figure skaters in Turkmenistan in Ashgabat. The training began with a theoretical part, in which there was a place and the history of figure skating as one of the most beautiful sports, and its current state, and development prospects. The instructions of Vladimir Zakharov, who brought up many famous athletes, including Olympic champions Ekaterina Gordeeva and Sergey Grinkov, are on time: now young Turkmen figure skaters are preparing to take part in the I International Sports Winter Games "Children of Asia", which start in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk in February.
