Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan are entering the space level in cooperation
The perspectives of partnership between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan in the new field - aerospace - were discussed at a meeting of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sputnik Kazakhstan reported.
In May 2015, the first Turkmen satellite "TürkmenÄlem 52 ° E" was launched into the geostationary orbit, now the country is preparing to launch the second one, and therefore is interested in Kazakhstan's experience in this field, including the use of the "KazSat" communication system.
Specialists of the space industry of the two countries have already exchanged working visits, the relevant documents are being prepared for signing.
Special attention was paid by the representatives of the National Space Agency of Turkmenistan to the technologies of remote zonding of the earth, the interpretation of the information obtained, the use of which will make it possible to increase the efficiency of a number of economic sectors, activities to prevent emergencies, to protect the environment, etc.
