Turkmen wrestlers to perform at the Ivan Yarygin-2019 Grand Prix

Turkmen athletes will go to the annual international freestyle and women's wrestling tournament of the Grand Prix "Ivan Yarygin-2019", which will be held from 24 to 27 January in Krasnoyarsk (Russia).
On the titled and rating championship of the World Wrestling Association (United World Wrestling), held in honor of the double Olympic champion Ivan Yarygin, the strongest wrestlers from all over the world will gather.
The Turkmen sports delegation included bronze winners of the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games 2017 in Ashgabat Batyr Bordzhakov (70 kg), Mekan Orazov (61 kg) and others.
One of the main fighters of the national team of Turkmenistan and applicants for the Dovletmyrat Orazgylydzhov medal (79 kg) will not be able to participate in this Grand Prix. In the past Yarygin tournament, he won a bronze medal, thus becoming the first Turkmen athlete in history to win such competitions.
It is clear that this year he would be able to make a worthy competition to experienced wrestlers from Russia, the USA, Azerbaijan, Iran and replenish his medal "arsenal" with one more award.
But the enthusiastic athlete focuses on the conquest of heights in the new Olympic weight category 86 kg. For example, Dovletmurat aims to adequately represent the country at the April Asian Championships in China, and in September to pass the first qualifying competition for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo - the primacy of the planet in Kazakhstan.
Last year, he more than once climbed the pedestal in the weight category of 79 kg - at the international freestyle wrestling tournament for the prizes of three-time Olympic champion Alexander Medved (silver) in September in Minsk, as well as the World Championship among athletes under 23 years old (bronze) in November in Bucharest.
