Turkmenistan eSports Federation will play out the country's Cup for the first time
The National Federation of eSports of Turkmenistan invites all fans of electronic games to take part in the first competitions for the country's Cup “Turkmenistan Cup 2019” in the discipline DOTA 2. Participation in the competition will be a starting platform for beginners and an excellent training ground for existing gamers. The winner of the Cup is expected by a prize fund of 5,000 manat. The representatives of the three leading teams will form the e-sports team of Turkmenistan, which in the future will represent the country in international tournaments. Registration for the Cup starts on January 15th on the Federation website and runs until February 20th. Each team that has expressed a desire to participate must have a name, its own logo, flag and other distinctive symbols. In addition to the main players, teams during registration should specify one reserve participant who will be able to come on as a substitute in unforeseen cases. The tournament, which starts on February 25, will be held in two stages - a group tour and a playoff stage, in which two top teams from each group will qualify. The final of the 2018 Turkmenistan Cup will be held on March 17 at the Cultural and Business Center for Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan. It will be broadcast on the federation twitch channel. The favorites of the championship are the current holders of the Federation Cup - the Galkynysh team, the participants of the 2018 WESG international tournament in e-sports (World Electronic Sports Games) Nusay and Tilki.
