Football Federation of Turkmenistan launches courses for young referees


The Football Federation of Turkmenistan (FTF) has announced recruitment for referee training courses.
The first-of-its-kind training seminar conducted by FFT specialists is aimed at increasing the total number of judges and improving the quality of match maintenance in Turkmenistan, which will positively affect the nature of the games held in the country.
The course participants will receive a rich arsenal of both theoretical and practical knowledge, they will become more familiar with the peculiarities of physical training and the rules of this spectacular sport. They will be presented with video materials that teach the correct assessment of certain episodes in football and futsal.
At the end of the course, future football referees will be tested on all completed materials, which will determine the most competent ones, both in terms of theory and physical data. They will receive the right to serve youth football and futsal tournaments, matches of the first and highest leagues of Turkmenistan.
Football referee is not only a prestigious, but also a difficult profession. Referees should have qualities such as confidence, high concentration of attention and quick thinking. Indeed, not only the result of the match, but also the development of football as a whole depends on the decision-making of the judge.
“In the future, we plan to make this project regular,” commented the representatives of the FTF. - The rotation of judges is important, as there are young promising guys who can make a healthy competition to their experienced colleagues.
In the future, young professionals will be able to attend seminars and advanced training courses organized by the International Football Federation (FIFA) in Turkmenistan.
