The demand and supply of the Turkmen labor market become balanced
37.4 thousand people were employed by the employment service of the population of Turkmenistan from January to July 2017. This constitutes 89.9% of all registered in the search for work.
The percentage of young people in the total number of employed citizens is 52.1%.
In total, during this time, according to the information of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, 41.6 thousand people were registered, who applied to the local department of labor resources, which is 4.1% less than in the same period in 2016.
The decrease in supply of labor was observed mainly in the city of Ashgabat, Ahal and Balkan velayats, where the necessary quantity of employment opportunities was provided, including through state support of entrepreneurship.
In particular, in the coastal region, the number of job-seekers has decreased by 26.8% compared to the previous year.
The main task of the regional employment offices is to implement the policy pursued by the state in the sphere of employment settings. At the same time, not only economic, but also to a significant extent, social and cultural specifics, as well as traditions, should be taken into account.
Today, the government's actively pursued labor and employment policy is an effective mechanism for influencing the labor market. And this provides an opportunity to make capable citizens more competitive, to facilitate their employment and efficient use of labor resources.
