Turkmen taekwondo fighters won ten medals at an international tournament in India


Athletes from Turkmenistan have once again proved their superiority by winning ten medals at the International Taekwondo Championship (ITF version) that ended in New Delhi. In the discipline "personal line" there were no equal to Serdar Hydyrov, Gaygyziz Atabayev and Orazmurad Charyev, who won gold medals. In the same category, the fourth-dan winner, Annamyrat Goshaniyazov, received a silver award. Myahri Agayeva won the silver medal in the “team tula”, and Goshaniyaz Durdyyev is the bronze medalist. Turkmenistan led the first line of the standings in demonstrations, both among women and men. Brilliantly Turkmen taekwondo fighters also sparred, winning four awards. Gold - by Annamyrat Goshaniyazov (64 kg), Orazmurat Charyyev (71 kg), Goshaniyaz Durdyyev (78 kg), and bronze in the weight category 64 kg went to Serdar Khidyrov. Turkmen athletes achieved the same success at the South Asia Championship in Nepal in the summer of 2018.
