Weightlifter Hojamuhammed Toychiev - bronze medalist of the Qatar Cup
On the final day of the 5th Qatar International Cup, the Turkmen weightlifter Hojamuhammed Toychiev took the third place in the “push” discipline in the weight category + 109 kg. In total, the athlete lifted 403 kg (175 kg in the snatch, 228 kg in the push) and was on the fifth line of the tournament table. Despite the fact that Hojamuhammed did not have enough luck in the snatch, he brilliantly performed the approaches in a push. But the weightlifter failed the final attempt, which could bring him among the leaders. At the 2018 World Home Championship, Hojamuhammed Toychiev locked the top seven strongest heavyweight athletes on the planet. At the XVIII Summer Asian Games, held in August of this year in Jakarta, he finished fourth.
