Ashgabat ABU TV Song Festival broadcasts on Japanese TV

In October of this year, the 7th annual edition of the ABU TV Song Festival 2018, organized by the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU), was held in Ashgabat, where popular artists of various nationalities performed brilliant artistic skills and won the hearts of the audience of dozens of countries. On the eve of the New Year holidays, the NHK Japanese public television channel will broadcast the festival on the night of December 15-16, Japanese time. This year, in the program of the festival, national artists Gulshat Gurdova and Parahat Amandurdyev, famous pop singers Myahri Pirguliyeva, Begench Charyyev represented Turkmenistan. A total of sixteen countries, including Asia and Africa, took part in the ABU TV Song Festival 2018. In the NHK version of the show, viewers will also see how famous Japanese singer Eir Aoi visits various cultural and historical places of the capital of Turkmenistan. Also, the favorite singer of the Land of the Rising Sun will tell about great support that she received from the audience of Turkmenistan during performance of IGNITE song. On December 25, the Ashgabat ABU TV Song Festival will be broadcasted on NHK World Premium, and, on January 6, 2019, the English version will be broadcasted worldwide on NHK World TV.Georgiy ASLANYAN
