On December 11, the final match of the competitions for the Neutrality Cup of Turkmenistan in futsal among teams of various ministries, departments and universities of the country was held in the Ashgabat Olympic Complex. The tournament, which lasted seven days, was a good present for all football fans on the eve of the International Neutrality Day. As ORIENT reported already, 10 teams took part in the competitions, which were divided into three groups. According to the results of the group stage, students from “Talyp Sporty” team and employees of the Migration service - “Migration” team advanced from Group A. From Group B - “Kopetdag” team, and from Group C - “Nesil” team. These four strongest teams well deserved their place in the semi-finals of the Neutrality Cup, beating competitors with a large margin of safety. In the first semifinal match, “Talyp Sporty” beat “Kopetdag”, and in the second, “Nesil” won “Migration” in the penalty shoot-out. Many futsal experts predicted the final match of “Migration” vs “Kopetdag”. However, football is not a predictable game, and fortune telling on the coffee grounds does not always come along with the twists and turns of life. As a result, these teams met only in the match for third place. The inexorable law of the game of millions: if you do not score, then they score you: and “Migration” again lost in the penalty shootout, but the fans, grateful for their uncompromising fight, saw off the team in the standing position, which desperately played against rivals throughout the tournament to win the cherished cup. Due to the high skill and ability to feel the goal situation, the most scoring teams of this not so long tournament reached the finals, which for two teams had already scored 45 goals! “Talyp Sporty” progressively moving to the victorious finish throughout the tournament, proved to be true to its principles in the final match also - 2: 1. Students of the National Institute of Sports and Tourism celebrate their desired victory! The tournament, dedicated to the International Day of Neutrality, is completed. It is time to sum up and present the traditional awards to the best goalkeeper and the best goal-scorer of the entire competition. Charymyrat Ovezgeldiyev, who confidently defended the gate of “Nesil” from the opponent’s cunning strikes, is the best goalkeeper. Ussat Annamuradov from “Kopetdag” team, who most of all forced the goalkeepers to get the balls out the goal net is the top goal-scorer. This tournament left different emotions among the fans, one of which – Ovez Kepbanov – shared with ORIENT his thoughts about the happy winner of the Cup. “I think the result was predictable. “Talyp Sporty” throughout the tournament played as a one team with keen desire to fight; well-played combination, plus individual skill of some players played a key role.” However, the tournament visibly showed the different level of preparedness of the teams – the four semifinalists were significantly superior to their pursuers. I wish there were no relatively weak teams. We wish that all participants in the football match were the same level as today's leaders. And to winner team, in turn, we would like to wish that, being leaders, they do not stop on the results achieved. Let us wish them to continue upgrade their skills in sports, which, as we know, has a beginning, but has no end.Georgiy ASLANYAN
