Orient studied the information of the State Statistics Committee of Turkmenistan concerning wages in the country in order to determine in which agencies and organizations have the highest salaries. As it turned out, the biggest (on average) salary is in the merchant marine, namely in the Closed Joint-Stock Company "Deniz sovda floty", even taking into account the fact that compared to 2016, the rate decreased slightly. In 2017 it equals 2 387.6 manats. The second place is taken by the National Space Agency under the President of Turkmenistan - 1 909.9 manats. Here, the increase over the previous year is 28.7%. In the third position is the State Concern "Turkmenneft" with 1 861.4 manat (+ 2.9%). Then the list can immediately include the entire financial and economic and banking complex. The salaries are also relatively high for the State Service of Maritime and River Transport, the Ministry of Construction and Architecture, the Service "Turkmenhovayollary", the Closed Joint-Stock Company "Altyn Asyr", the State Corporation "Turkmengeologia". In the list of departments with structures that have highly paid specialists also includes the Ministry of Education. One of the lowest salaries was in the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations.
