A teacher of German language from one of the village schools of Turkmenistan - Syahetbibi Amanova has been for the international internship in Germany, in the Professional Schools (BBS) Osterholz-Sharmbek (Lower Saxony). Every year BBS organizes exchanges of teachers, inviting experts from different countries. The internship is held annually in November, during the three weeks. According to the organizers, such events are aimed at acquaintance of pupils with the cultures of different countries, widening the horizons of their worldview. Therefore, Syahetbibi told a lot to the German schoolchildren about her Motherland, Turkmen spiritual and material culture, traditions and rituals. For Syahetbibi this is the first trip to Germany that she has always been dreaming about since her early childhood. Her father promoted the love for the German language, it was thanks to him that she discovered for herself and began to read immortal works of such classics of world literature as Goethe and Schiller. “I love German as a language of culture and science,” Amanova said. Our compatriot was greeted by the students and teachers of the school. During the internship she visited the Bremen and Oldenburg museums, and watched a play based on the novel by Franz Kafka “America” in the Bremen Theater. Teachers from Germany also expressed a desire to visit Turkmenistan, to get to know our country, to get acquainted with its system of education and teaching of foreign languages.Guljan Garaeva
