German companies seek to expand their presence in the Turkmen market

In Frankfurt am Main, the Turkmen-German business forum was held. This is reported by the website of the Foreign Ministry: www.mfa.gov.tm. More than 90 representatives of German companies, organizations and enterprises working in the fields of energy, oil and gas, chemical production, banking, computer technology, as well as in insurance, healthcare, education and the agrarian sector joined the negotiations with the Turkmen delegation. The forum assessed the economic potential of Turkmenistan, as well as discussed issues of increasing trade between countries. Particular attention was paid to the investment sphere and the conditions of activity of foreign companies in Turkmenistan. Over 50 meetings between representatives of business structures of the two countries took place on the forum's fields, during which approaches to enhancing cooperation were agreed upon. Within the framework of the business forum, an exhibition of Turkmen products was organized and a presentation of the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games was held. During their stay in Germany, the Turkmen delegation visited the enterprises of Neufeld, specializing in the food industry, software manufacturer SAP SE and the largest chemical concern BASF.
