Ahal Futsal players - champions of Turkmenistan
The winner of the Turkmenistan Futsal Championship among girls that ended today and the winner of the coveted Cup was the Ahal team, representing the eponymous region of the country.
Futsal players of "Ahal" demonstrated a good technique of possession of the ball and a well-coordinated team play throughout all the competition days. They did not lose a single match and recorded 15 points on their assets.
Maria Charyeva, striker of the Ahal velayat team, who hit the gate of the rivals 13 times, was recognized as the best scorer of the competition, and goalkeeper of the same team Ogulbahar Halilova - the best goalkeeper.
The second place is occupied by one of the favorites of the championship - the capital’s team "Ashgabat", who collected 12 points. The team suffered only one defeat, in a principled match with Ahal, which was its main rival.
Many of the players of Ahal and Ashgabat represented Turkmenistan at the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in the national futsal team.
The bronze medalist of the championship was futsal players from "Dashoguz", representing the northern region of Turkmenistan.
